The Southfield Human Services Department, along with a HUD certified housing counseling agency called Lighthouse Community Development, will host a free Homebuyer Education Seminar on 4/18/2015.
The seminar will take place at the Southfield Public Library.
Homebuyer education courses are valuable resources for all homebuyers, but especially first time homebuyers. As Southfield is the perfect market for most first time homebuyers – having both affordability and central location for easy access to the city and suburbs for work and recreation – it makes sense for the city to educate its residence and soon to be homeowners.
If you have already started looking for homes to purchase bring all questions that your realtor or mortgage broker have not been able to advise on. This course is your chance to get an independent third party prospective on home ownership.
For any first time home buyer, whether it makes sense to purchase or rent should be a factor. The seminar should give you insights that you may not have previously considered.
